Earls Court

It’s hard to describe this London house. You walk through a gate in the wall and there it is… a barn folly in the heart of London – it is quite unexpected. It is long and narrow, but as a space now works very well. Working closely with Flower Michelin Architects, we completely transformed the building that was there before, rearranging the space so that as you enter, you can see right through the house to the garden at the back. The whole of the back of the house is now crittall, with vast sliding glass doors to the garden. The kitchen and dining room are galleried, looking out to the garden by Tania Compton. It’s an exciting, interesting place filled with wonderful, very eclectic art, sculpture and ceramics including a central double height glass light well with a fascinating sculpture/water feature by Jordi Raga.
