Rodmarton Manor is a supreme example of a house built according to Arts and Crafts ideals and was one of the last country houses to be built and furnished in the old traditional style when everything was done by hand with local stone, local timber and local crafts. Ernest Barnsley and the Cotswold group of craftsman built and furnished the house using local specialists in woodwork, metalwork, needlework, painting and gardening. 100 years later, the latest generation of the family have moved into this wonderful house and are slowly and sensitively renovating many rooms, some of which have remained untouched since first installed. It is a privilege to be working on this project.
