This luxurious ski-in ski-out family chalet with impressive double height ceilings and windows in vibrant Val d’Isere was designed to be contemporary, airy and chic – and yet to still be extremely comfortable and cosy. We used solid oak panels throughout, instead of the usual reclaimed pine, and paid particularly close attention to joinery finishes, tones, textures and lighting. As is often the case with chalet installs, there were long hours and many touch and go moments trying to avoid imminent heavy snowfall, but everyone is extremely happy with the end result.
