Working alongside Adam Richards Architects and RW Amstrong, we brought this ten bedroom, seven bathroom, listed 17th century Oxfordshire manor house back to life in spectacular fashion.
This is a project that required real attention to detail throughout as we balanced conservation, restoration and classical architecture with design for imaginative, comfortable, contemporary family living.
The fabrics, colours and textures of this fabulous project really sing, and we are absolutely delighted with the result.
A remarkable new wing was added, adjoining the original part of the house with an orangery style kitchen/breakfast room, octagonal tower and a cantilevered Portland stone staircase leading from a swimming pool beneath the terrace, up through the new living spaces and on to new guest rooms.
